Yes, and this is the current behaviour. A message sent by an operator from the Open Channel, from WASync Chat or from the WhatsApp tab on a record is written on the timeline as that operator. Incoming messages from customers are written as the app's technical user, because no employee wrote them.
The exception is a message typed on the company phone or in WhatsApp Web: it reaches Bitrix24 without an operator identity, so it is also written as the technical user.
