What's new, 21 October 2026: A customer who sends several messages before the bot's first reply no longer gets the opening sequence of a Chat Flow twice
WASync · Developers

An employee filters by their own name and still sees other people's chats. Why?

The filter also matches the contact's responsible, not only the lead or deal; a per-portal option can make the lead or deal owner win.

Because the "Assigned to" filter and the Only my records level match a conversation by the responsible of the lead or deal and by the responsible of the CRM contact. A lead handed to a colleague stays visible to the person who still owns the contact, which is what most portals expect.

If your process gives every contact to one fixed employee while the leads rotate, that rule gets in the way. On request we can switch your portal so that the contact's responsible counts only when the customer has no open lead or deal; otherwise the lead or deal owner wins. Write to support with your portal name.
