A chat stayed linked to someone else's deal. Can I move the conversation to another record?
Yes: "Change record" in the chat header relinks the conversation; the thread stays whole, new timeline entries go to the new record.
Yes. Open the conversation, press Change record in the header and pick the lead, deal or contact it should belong to. From then on the header shows that record, new timeline comments go to it, and the "Assigned to" filter and the visibility levels follow it.
Nothing is moved or deleted: the chat thread belongs to the WhatsApp number and stays whole, and the comments already written on the old record's timeline remain there.
