What's new, 22 October 2026: Under "Each number creates its own lead", a flow no longer binds a first-time contact to an older lead found by phone, so the customer's next reply does not produce a second lead.

Quick replies

Saved answers typed with "/" in WASync Chat and in the CRM tab, personal or shared with the team, with variables for the customer's name, a greeting by their local time and any CRM field.

Quick replies are saved texts an operator inserts by typing / at the start of a line, or after a space, in the composer of WASync Chat or of the WhatsApp tab on a CRM record. The list filters as you type the shortcut; Enter inserts the reply with its variables already filled for the open customer.

Personal and team replies

Each reply is either personal (visible only to the person who created it) or shared with the team (visible to everyone on the portal). Both kinds live in the same list, managed under Quick replies in the sidebar: shortcut, text, language versions, and who may see it. A shortcut must be unique within a person's own replies and within the team's.

Variables

Written with double braces, rendered on the server at the moment of insertion:

VariableValue
{{greeting}}"Good morning", "Good afternoon" or "Good evening" in the customer's language, by the customer's local time
{{contact.first_name}}, {{contact.name}}, {{contact.phone}}From the WhatsApp contact
{{record.title}}, {{record.stage}}, {{record.responsible}}From the lead or deal the conversation is linked to
{{crm.FIELD}}Any field of that record, by its code, for example {{crm.UF_CRM_1764232595}}; lists and dates are rendered as labels and formatted values

The customer's language and time zone are deduced from the country of their phone number; when the portal has no time zone, UTC is used.

Language versions

A reply can hold several language versions under one shortcut. The version matching the customer's language (from the phone country) is inserted; the default version otherwise. Useful for teams who serve several countries from one number.
